CORONAVIRUS UPDATE.
Cycling UK takes the health and wellbeing of our members, supporters, groups and volunteers very seriously so we're following Government and NHS guidance very closely. Cycling UK advises that limiting group rides to a maximum of 15 is sensible and that people should exercise some discretion and common sense depending on where they are riding.
Our rides cater for all kinds of ability and age. There is a range of speeds from the slower rides at around 9 mph to the faster groups at 17 mph and the lengths vary from 20 mile half day up to 70 mile all day rides. Other rides include our Audax, Mountain biking and the Club 100. There is a ride each day except Mondays. The Club also organises various social events throughout the year ranging from meals to trips away.
To join us on the road, look at our rides lists, choose a suitable ride, then come along with your bike to the meeting point with a guest registration form (see below). After three rides with us we ask you to join "Cycling UK"?, which will provide you with third party insurance. This can cost between £29.50 and £46.50 per annum.
